We are herby requesting a variance of 9 feet to the existing front setback
of . 30 feet to build a front entry and attached garage on the east side of
the existing one story house.
We feel that a variance is needed for the following reasons;
1. There isn't room for an attached standard two car garage without
se[back. Distance from front of house to back step and door measures 12
feet 3 inches, an inadaquate distance to park a car. (Exhibit A, Note A)
2. An unattached garage is not feasible for the following reasons:
Due to the hack steps and door the location of the garage would have to be
at least 10 feet past the existing entry which would thus require the
removal of a large healthy willow tree, which would adversly effect our
neighbors as well as ourselves. Also there isn't enough room for an un-
attached double garage without a side variance. (Exhibit A, Note S)
