Cfty Project #660, Wilderness Run 1, 2, 3, & 4th Additions Street Restoration Improvements Dear Ms. Carlson: Recentiy, it was brought to the Ciry's attention that your property was inadverterrtly omitted from all notifications with respect to the above-referenced project. The City sincerely apologizes for this omission. On Thursday, January 13, 1994, the City Public Works Department hosted an open house informational meeting for all properties wfthin the Wilderness Run 1, 2, 3, & 4th Additions. Approximately 26 property owners were.in attendance at this meeting. I have enclosed a copy of the preliminary feasibility study which was prepared for the proposed Wilderness Run street improvements. Briefly, the piroject entails the rehabilitation of the streets within the Wilderness Run 1st, 2nd; 3rd, & 4th Additions. The cost for these proposed street improvements are to be shared by the City and the adjacent property owners. At the time of fhe preparation of the preliminary feasibility study and this letter, the approximate cos4 to each property owner was estimated at $3,552. On February 15, 1994, the Eagan City Council held a public hearing to discuss the merits of proposed Project 660. I have attached a Copy of the Notice of Public Hearing which was sent to all prOperty owners, with the. exception of yourself, within the Wilderness Run 1, 2, 3, & 4th Additions. As a resuft of this public hearing, the City Council approved Project 660 and authorized the prepar8tion of detailed plans and specifications. Associated with the approval of the project; the City Council directed the preparation of representative appr&isais to determine 'rf fhe proposed $3,552 cost per property owner was a reasonable assessment for the proposed street restoration improvements.
