Attached is a diagonal bracing sketch. This is our interp_retation of what is required per the 2003 MN state buiiding code (or solid
blocking). This is not an Encompass designed detail. As stated in my previous email, the design provided to Ostertag is a
foundation design only. We are not responsible for wood structural framing for a project we have never seen. Have the building
official call me directly if he needs anything eise.

Mike,
We are in the process of re-evaluatfng and!or potentially haiting our involvement in the production of "generic" design
sheets. Therefore, we are unable to provide a stamped bridging design. In addition, the design provided to Ostertag
is generally a concrete foundation design with general framing recommendations to provide standard top-of-wall
bracing.
Standard diagonal bracing per the 2003 Minnesota State Building Code should be used for walls with a height in the
range addressed in Table 2-A under section 1303.1900.
