This memorandum is in response to your plan review letter of April 13, 2005, for the Max Steininger
Inc. Office building at 3070 South I,exington Avenue.
1. The corridor sidelights at fire-rated doors have been revised to be standard wire glass and
rated HM frames in lieu of the cleaz rated glazing originally specified.
2. The framing in details A7/A7.1 and A3/A7.2 were discussed in our telephone conversation
immediately after the receipt of this plan review.
3. The attic access will be provided in the following two locations, one on each side of the draft
stop. The north access scuttle will be in Room 104 and the south access scuttle will be in
Room 103.
4. The reception counter will be revised to provide an accessible counter section at the reception
azea. A revised drawing will be provided once the new layout is detemuned.
5. As previously discussed, the parking lot raises at the handicap-parking stall to allow for an
accessible route directly from the unloading/loading zone, across the sidewalk and to the front
door.
6. The general contractor has been notified of the requirement to obtain sign permits prior to
signage installation.
