NOTICE
Erosion Control Requirements of Building Permit
An erosion control inspection is required before any framing begins. The intent is to limit dirt tracked into street and washed into
adjacent waterways or property. At this erosion control and grading inspection, all backfilling shall be completed, the site shall be
graded to bottom of topsoil elevation, and a gravel pad for driveway from the garage to the street shall be in place. Xsilt fence or
equal shall be installed three (3) feet from the back of curb extending from the side lot lines (extended) to the gravefdriveway
opening. Additional sift fence shall be erected in site areas as directed by a representative of the engineering department.
All fences shall be continuously maintained until such time that turf is established in the yard. Failure to obtain an erosion control
and grading inspection approval prior to framing.or lack of maintenance of fences will result in a stop-work order. All contractors
are required to use the gravel driveway access point instead of driving over the curb. " .
At final inspection, aii disturbed areas must be sodded or seeded and mulched. !f dirt enters street, permit holder will be required
to remove.

Due to a department oversight, your building permit was released
prematurely.- Lot 5, Block 5, Country Home Heights Addition, is now
being used for storm water ponding until such a time that storm
sewers are approved for that area. This is a historical use for
that lot. The City of Eagan cannot be responsible for any exces-
sive storm water that ponds on your property. I had discussed this
briefly by phone with you previous to your permit application.
Also be aware that you can only redirect any drainage into City
storm sewers or storm water holding ponds via City drainage ease-
ments. No storm water can be diverted onto other private property
unless it is part of a historical drainage pattern still in exist-
ance.
