As a result of additional research by some of the affected property owners and City staff,
the City Council in official action at the meeting held on November 26, 1999 approved an
adjustment to this assessment roll. The adjusted amount for each affected parcel results
from a different method of calculating the assessment that is considered to be fairer while
still consistent with City assessment policies. The new method assesses the storm.sewer
trunk at a per squaze foot rate of $.082 to a maximum of $2,250 per lot. Lots that are
less than 26,510 square feet in size will receive a reduction in the assessment. If you are
interested in the calculation, the reduction equals $2,250 minus your lot size times $.082.
Since you have already paid your assessment, you aze due a refund of the difference.
Enclosed is a check refunding the difference in principal plus interest at the rate of 6.5%
from the date of payment to December 3, 1999. For your reference, the principal and

As a result of additional reseazch by some of the affected property owners and City staff,
the City Council in official action at the meeting held on November 26, 1999 approved an
adjustment to this assessment roll. The adjusted amount for each affected parcel results
from a different method of calculating the assessment that is considered to be fairer while
still consistent with City assessment policies. The new method assesses the storm sewer
trunk at a per square foot rate of $.082 to a maximum of $2,250 per lot. Lots that are
less than 25,610 square feet in size will receive a reduction in the assessment. If you are
interested in the calculation, the reduction equals $2,250 minus your lot size times $.082.
The reduction for your pazcel equals $470.25. .
Since you chose not to prepay the assessment, we will make an adjustment to the records
? at Dakota County and your annual payments will be somewhat smaller over the 15-yeaz

As a result of additional reseazch by some of the affected property owners and City staff,
the City Council in official action at the meeting held on November 26, 1999 approved an
adjustment to this assessment roll. The adjusted amount for each affected parcel results
from a different method of calculating the assessment that is considered to be fairer while
still consistent with City assessment policies. The new method assesses the storm sewer
trunk at a per squaze foot rate of $.082 to a maximum of $2,250 per lot. Lots that are
less than 25,610 square feet in size will receive a reduction in the assessment. If you are
interested in the calculation, the reduction equals $2,250 minus your lot size times $.082.
The reduction for your parcel equals $293.95. .
