This letter is to verify that Wright Homes has abided by the City of Eagan's Tree Preservation
Ordinance on I,ot 2, Block 1, Mazcella Woods. ,
During a site visit on May IS`h, 2007, all significant trees designated to be saved on dhe Tree
Preservation Plan prepazed by Pioneer Engineering, P.A. (10-10-03) were observed on the lot and
are in good health, except tree 4714 (14" Elm). Originally this tree was to be removed, due to
being a hazard tree, during the initial site grading but has been left standing. The tree appears
healthy but at the base there is major mechanical damage and the presence of intemal decay.
Structurally this tree is not being supported by enough sound wood at the base. Before
coustruction starts, ttus tree should be removed to avoid any hazardous situations that may occur
once the house is placed in its proximity.
The house has been staked. Silt fence should be installed prior to beginnuig construction
activities and can be used as tree protection fence. Grading and construction of ihe new home
should not have a negative effect on these trees and woodland being protected.
