RACKGROUND: On August 7, 1990 the applicant was granted approval for a Variance of
13' to his side yard setback in order to add an additional garage stall to his existing two-car
garage. Since that time, Mr. Vaughn has decided that an additional 3' Variance is necessary.
COMMENTS: The site in question is located at the southeast corner of Johnny Cake Ridge
Road and Mallard Dtive. Mr. Vaughn's initial Variance request of 13' was arrived at when
he measured the absolute minimum width that would allow him to back a boat trailer into
the new garage stalL This situation will provide Mc Vaughn a 6" cushion from his trailer
wheels on either side. Therefore, Mr. Vaughn is seeking an additional 3' Variance to ease
loading and unloading maneuvers in his third garage stall.
