of corrected notes for the Polyfab structure. There was a typographical
error in the original notes listing a 30 mph wind design speed. The
structure was reviewed on the basis of the 1985 U.B.C., which involves an
80 mph design speed for this area.

1. Enclosure system is limited to recreational and
outdoor living purposes and is not to be used as
a car port, garage or habitable room.
2. Enclosure system to be installed under any patio
cover approved for enclosure per Chapter 49 of
the U.B.C. or equal.
3. Fasteners shall be 5056 Aluminum "pop" rivets
with carbon steel plated mandrel, sheet metal
screws shall be sizes shown of stainless steel,
zinc plated, galvanized steel or 2029-T4
Aluminum.
4. All structural components of this enclosure
system (except solid panels) are of alloy &
tempered 6063-T5 unless specifically noted
otherwise.

6. Each enclosure shall have permanently affixed an
identification tag, giving the name and address
of the manufacturer and design load.
7. Where the enclosure is required to be left open
per Section 4901, the open area of the longer
wall and one additional wall shall be a minimum
of 657 of the area below a minimum of 7'-0" of
each wall measured from the floor.
8. Bearing system mullions have been designed for
full designated wind load acting in combination
with 507 of the designated snow load per Section
2311 (3) of the U.B.C.
9. Walls have been designed for wind load of 80 mph
for walls not to exceed 10 feet in height.
10. Roof has been designed for 30 & 40 psf live load
refer to span chart for span limitations, for
span conditions greater than those shown consult
manufacturer.
11. Patio enclosure to be assemhled in accordance
with construction manual.
