In accordance with your request, I met you at the referenced address, on November 6, 2001

The visual inspection on November 6, 2001 revealed that the norlheast corner of the
concrete block foundation had been struck.
Fnclosed sheet 1 depicts the mortar joints, and the face of a conerete block that hace been
patched.
Sheet 1 also depicts veriical reinforcing that you said was placed in the wall. Mr• Raymond
?viiller confinned the placement of vertical reinforcing during a phone conversation on 11-
8_01, you and iVlr. Miller said the bloek voids arouvd the reinforcing were filled with
conorete.
Based on the infonnation outlined above, in conjunction with ovcr thirty-five ycars of
engineering experier.ce, it is my opinion with a reasonable degree of engineering certainty,
that the wall has been adequatcly repaired, and that it is stronger afrer repair than it was
prior to being scruck.
