On January 2, 2001, Building Pernut #44019 was issued to Rodney Carlson. Mr. Carlson
completed an Affidavit of Exemption From State Contractor License stating "a. .......I
am building such home as my own personal residence and intend to permanently live
therein". However, this home is still under construction and there is a sign in the front
yard advertising it for sale.
We believe this in violation of Minnesota Statutes s326.84, Subd. 3. A copy of the

This Affidavit is submitted in connection with the building permit application made by
Rodney Carlson (Building Permit Applicant) for a proposed work project

2. I acknowledge and understand that Minnesota Statutes, s326.84, requires all residential
building contractors/remodelers to obtain a license from the Minnesota Department of
Commerce, o less otherwise exempt under the statute.
