repair of an existing domestic water supply well. In areas in
which City water is readily available, the City would require hook-
up to the City system in the event the existing well is not
functional. In your particular situation, no City water is
available or planned in the immediate future and City policy allows
repair of an existing domestic water supply well. Please contact
the Dakota County Health Department for possible permit
requirements.
Even though no City water is readily available or planned in the
immediate future, City water will be extended to serve your
property as well as the adjacent property when the adjacent
properties develop. At the time of City water extension,
connection to the City system will be required in accordance with
City policies in effect at that time.

I recently met with Mrs. Branderhorst regarding a problem with "e
sale of their property at 4875 Pilot Knoh Road (10-03300-013-,-XS).
It is expected that on May 17, 1990, the City Council will approve
Project 590 which is the Pilot Knob Road improvement south of
Rebecca Lane. The approval of that project will place a pending
assessment on the Branderhorst parcel and require an escrow at
closing. According to her, that requirement will kill the sale as
the buyers cannot front the additional money. The buyers have no
problem with the improvement or the assessment but want to pay it
in installments when levied.
In your opinion, is it possible, either informally based on this
letter or more formally through a simple agreement, to delay the
posting of the pending assessment until after the closing date
thereby allowinq the sale transaction to take place. It seems
there should be a simple way to accommodate this request. The City
is interested in collecting the assessment and%'not in causing
additional hardship for the residents.
Please respond as soon as possible as the City's position should
be known to these people in advance of the meeting on May 17.

states one principal building on a lot. Mr. Curtis has a 26' X 64'
house and attached 2-car garage. Mr. Curtis would meet the 208 lot
coverage requirement.
These lots were subject to Council action on 12/21/1976 and again on
