2. A structural engineering analysis of the lateral framing was completed and the Eollowing
items are nioted:

a. The lateral braciztg within the house meets the prescriptive zequixements of the code.

torsional momenE that needs to bc resisted by the garage sidewalls.
The garage, fram.ing shall ineet fhe following reGuirements:

directly to the framing ti>ith 10d nails spaced 6-inches on center at pan.el edges and

Dear Greg & Julie,
The turn around on your lot was not supposed to be removed this early.
The city has now come back and told us that we need to reinstall it first
thing in the spring. I told you that I would reduce the size down, and in
the future I would remove it. Some of my guys instead removed it
completely, and I knew I couldn't do that. Any costs associated with it,
such as sprinklers, sod, or trees to go around it, of course we will pay for. I
will also work on getting it as small as I can so it looks the best for you. I will
also starf working with the guy next door to see if we can buy his properfy
so that can be eliminated. You two were very good customers to work
with, and we want to help you in any way we can, while still complying
with the city.
We have a good working relationship with the city, and we don't want to
damage that. We also want to make you as happy as we can. Please
give me a call with any questions.

Preservation Ordinance on Lot 1, Block 1, Piney Woods.
During a site visit on Nlay 3, 2004, all significant trees designated to be saved on the Tree
Preservation Plan prepared by Pioneer Engineering, P.A. (3-19-03) were observed on the lot and
aze in good healttt.
The house has been staked. Tree protection fencing shou]d be placed outside of the dripline of
all trees to be saved, including the tree spaded azea (see graphic for notes). Future grading and
construction should not have a negative efFect on these trees.
