One is for $275 for a water shut-off adjustment and the other is for a grate and curb replacement in the amount of $600. As I have indicated to you on the phone several times I will pay for the water shut-off adjustment since this was my responsibility to have this corrected at the time of closing on the lot with your company, however, I reiterate my position that the grade and curb replacement is not my responsibility and I will not pay this bill. The grate and curb was damaged and apparently needs to be replaced as a result of the placement of the driveway. When I had my engineers desiqn the lots and the placement of the grates and curbs within the subdivision I had no idea of course where people would put their driveways relative to the width of the lot on Riverton Avenue. I have told you that this is the responsibility of either yourself or the property owner. In regard to the water shut-off adjustment I would like to see evidence from your subcontractor in writing as to what was done, when, and by whom.
