Subject: Objection to Storm Sewer Lateral Special Assessment
Property Lot Number: 10-24880-030-02
1. When we purchased our home in Evergreen Park in September
of 1971, we were assessed for a storm sewer. We have been
paying this storm sewer assessment for IS years. Now we
are being asked to pay for another storm sewer assessment.
2. My objection to this assessment is that homes in this
development do not have a fair assessment. Homes to the
northeast, north, west, south, and southeast have a lesser
or no assessment. Homes across the street have no assess-
ment; homes to the north on the same side of the street
have no assessment. Homes in this development that abut
Pilot Knob Road of which the storm sewer is under, have no
storm sewer assessment.
3. If this storm sewer assessment were a.fair assessment, I
would not be making a written objection. I don't feel this
assessment is equitable.
