I OCT 2 5 2007 As you are aware Citi-Cargo & Storage Co., Inc. and our sister company Logistics Services, Inc. have equipment in their fleets that is leased and rented. These lease and rental operations require a license from the State of Minnesota. Presently both of these licenses are registered at 3575 Highway 13 Eagan, MN. Lease and rental of equipment is a permitted use at 3575 Highway 13 location. As part of the licensing process the State of Minnesota requires a zoning verification letter signed by the local zoning authority. We have these letters signed by Eagan for the 3575 Highway 13 location. Our lease and rental operations are domiciled at the Highway 13 location, as is our operations department, maintenance and repair. We have, however, moved our corporate office to 900 Apollo Road, Eagan, MN. This move has caused the State to request changing the address on our licenses to our new address on Apollo Road even though our operation remains on Highway 13. To restate the basics of our request the following dynamics must be understood. The 3575 Highway 13 location will continue to be operated as the hub of both Citi-Cargo & Storage Co., Inc. and Logistics Services operation. This location will serve as the domicile for our equipment, all maintenance will be preformed at this location. All lease and rental will be preformed at this location. The 900 Apollo Road location will.function as the corporate office. No rental equipment, maintenance, or domicile of equipment will occur at 900 Apollo Road. Our request is driven by the State of Minnesota's requirement to show 900 Apollo Road as our main location and corporate headquarters. Therefore I request that the City of Eagan execute four zoning verifications. One for Citi-Cargo & Storage Co., Inc. and one for Logistics Services. Showing 900 Apollo Road as the primary location. To do this, they are proposing using two heaters fueled by propane which would be stored outdoors. According to the Uniform Fire Code, the tank must be stored at least 25' from any building and 25' from any property line. The tank must also be a minimum of 10' from all combustible materials and be protected from vehicular damage. Smoking and other sources of ignition must be at least 15' from the propane tank. A "No Smoking" sign should be posted as a reminder. The applicant is requesting this Special Use Permit from November 20, 1991 to April 30, 1992.
