Following your inquiry into the status of the various lots which you have owned
at one time or another, our office has examined the records at the Dakota County
Recorder's office and have determined the following:
1) The property now owned by Mrs. Nancy Mehrhoff was conveyed pursuant to
a Warranty Deed recorded as Document 11513931. That document conveyed the South
208.75 feet of the East 97 feet of the West 417.5 feet of Government Lot 7 in
Section 18. This would mean that Mrs. Mehrhoff owns a tract of land 97 feet in
width.
2) The property presently owned by Michael Hazel was granted to a Mr.
Kenneth Johnson and then to the Hazel family pursuant to a Warranty Deed record-
ed as Document 11445949. This description, while lengthy, basically described a
tract of land 97 feet by 208.75 feet and again Ms. Hazel appears to have
a lot, which on the short side is 97 feet in width.
3) A deed was granted from yourself to Mr. Lawrence Groven which was re-
corded as Document 11435425. The legal description conveyed the South 206 feet
of the East 97.37 feet of the West 208.74 feet of Government Lot 7. As indi-
cated in the deed, the width of Mr. Groven's property, on the short side, is 97.37
feet.
4) The property presently owned by Mr. Floyd Dickens is registered under
the torrens system of recording as Certificate of Title 1144474. This legal des-
cription is also rather lengthy; however it describes a parcel which is 104.29
feet by 208.75 feet.
5) The two parcels being purchased by Mr. Vern Seurer were last conveyed

Associates, which was dated September 8, 1980.
By copy of this letter I am asking Ann Goers, the Fagan Assessment Clerk, and
Tom Colbert, the Public Works Director, to base any assessments for Silver Bell
Road construction or for the utility construction upon these lot widths. I
cannot explain why these descriptions differ from the drawing done by P. R.
McLagan on March 18, 1963.
