We, the immediate residents of the area surrounding the house at 1770 Taconite Trail are petitioning the City of Eagan to consider the aforementioned house as a Public Nuisance and a Hazard to the Community. Specifically, our complaints are: 1. Overgrown weeds - at times as high as three feet. 2. Broken glass in the driveway and sidewalk areas. 3. Broken and unboarded basement windows. 4. Shattered main level window over the driveway causing a potential flying glass injury to passersby. We also request the Mayor contact the owner concerning his intent with regard to disposing or renting the property. The house has been unoccupied for seven years, and there has been no obvious effort to sell for the last two. This vacancy represents an obvious attractive nuisance to our children, as well as to others within the area.
