The Eagan plannera'report ,Tune 22, 1978, wae reviewed and it was suggested that there would be no thru traffic thmugh the SuperAmerica site to the East to Yankee Doodle Road. St was suggested that there be a right turn only sign out of [he bank site to encourage traffic to Washington Drive. After considerable diacussion, Hall moved,CO recomnend aoproval of the conditional use permit and the following variances: 1. Variance to reduce landscape area along Ysnkee Doodle Road from the minimim requirement of 20 feet to 8 feet. 2. Variance to reduce landacape area along 81st Street from minimum requirement of 20 feet to 3 feet for additional parking, if needed in the future, bu[ ta be implemented no sooner than two years after the opening of the facility and then only upon the requeat of the owner at which time the City would review with the understanding however the variance will.be granted at that time. 3. Variance [o construct a canopy over the outdoor teller islands at a 16 foot aetback from Yankee Doodle Road varied fram.the 50 foot requirement. 4. Further, resolved that the approval be subject to the following conditions: a. That employees will park off site in a common uarking area in the ahopping center. b. That a landscape bond be provided at $1000 for one year. c. That all other ordinance requirements be fulfilled lncluding concrete curb, lighting and aigninq. It is my understanding that at a meeting in September of last year the site received approval for location of a banking facility, and therefore the details are the only thing in ques- tion.
