Yorktown Place was not constructed as originally platted with Sunset Fourth Addition. An "eyebrow" was planned to serve Block 3 but was never constructed. This has left a straight street with a curved portion of right-of-way. This portion of the right- of -way should ultimately be vacated. Until this is accomplished, the applicant is asking to be able to locate the house on Lot 2 in conformance with the future straight right-of-way line. An alternative to the Variance would be to have the "eyebrow" constructed as originally proposed. If approved the Variance shall be subject to the following condi- tions: • 1) The applicant and the City shall pursue the vacation of the right-of-way area for the "eyebrow". 2) A waiver of plat shall be approved to adjust the lot lines between Lots 1 and 2 and between Lots 2 and 3.
