Cheryl Outz - Richard Schwarz/Neil Weber, Inc. 1) Jim Mann had completed Performance Bond and insurance forms; both given to Ken Vraa. Ken Vraa will send a copy of the Performance Bond to Dick Schwarz. 2) Ken Vraa advised to send a notice to ALM Builders to proceed with construction. 3) Contracts completed and one each given to City of Eagan, ALM Builders and Richard Schwarz/Neil Weber, Inc. 4) City Staff and Responsibilities reviewed. All questions, problems, etc. to he noted to Steve Sullivan and if any further administration Steve will notify Ken Vraa. Any site problems or conflicts noted to John Vondelinde. 5) Schwarz/Weber Staff reviewed. The months of June-July, Dick will be responsible for questions, inspections and shop drawings. After July, Andre will be project architect. 6) ALM Staff reviewed. Jim Mann - General Superintendent, Cap Peterson - Framing Superintendent, SkipRistau - available at ALM office. 7) Dale Peterson noted that the City of Eagan waiving all building permit fees except electrical, but expects all inspections and reviews to be completed in a normal manner. Date requested that copies of all architects inspection reports sent directly to him. 8) Construction to begin week of May 12, 1986. ALM Builders, Steve and John (of Eagan), and Dick (Schwarz/Weber) to meet 5/13/86 at 10:00 A.M. to stake out Trapp Farm Pavillion and Shelter. Preconstruction Conference - 2- 8 May, 1986 9) All sites and soils to be checked at time of excavation. ALM to notify City of Eagan and Schwarz/Weber before beginning of excavating. All sites will be reviewed by Eagan and Schwarz/Weber for proper access routes. Trapp Farm Pavillion to be reviewed 5/7/86. ^ 10) ALM responsible for providing barricades and maintaining all public safety. City of Eagan has noted there are no planned activities and signs provided by the City will be posted warning of construction. The City has noted they wish all trail surfaces to remain clear whenever possible. 11) Utilities: Steve noted there should be no utility lines to interfere with construction, but he will verify. City of Eagan to notify ALM of what mechanical utilities are available, where they are located and in which direction the lines are to run. ALM would also like to know what electrical power usage will be _ provided for them and where power is to be supplied. Rick Hanson (Peoples Natural Gas) to coordinate getting gas lines to Goat Hill and to Trapp Farm. Coordination will include with City route and location of all gas lines and meters. Schwarz/Weber suggests south side of each park, Steve will verify. 13) Submittals: a) Jim (ALM) to get Dick a list of all subcontractors. b) Schwarz/Weber requesting a progress schedule and Jim noted he'll provide a bar graph. c) Schwarz/Weber requesting all samples ASAP. d) Al1 shop drawings received at Schwarz/Weber will be checked and sent out at soonest date with the understanding that structural shop drawings to be reviewed by structural engineer and by Dick, possibly causing delay. 14) Correct procedure for Application of Payment noted in specifications. Schwarz/Weber requesting AIA pay form used which Jim agreed to. Dick also to set up a schedule with ALM when payment application is due at Schwarz/Weber. 15) All Field Reports from Schwarz/Weber will be sent to ALM and City of Eagan. All verifications will be noted by Field Report forms. Supplemental Instructions and Proposal Request will also be used by Schwarz/Weber. 16) ALM to provide any and all operating instructions for each building for the City. 17) ALM to follow completion schedules closely. Ken Vraa noted he is concerned for the care of the site and all surrounding areas. Al1 construction litter should be cleaned off site at all possible times. After completion the site should be made ready by ALM for seeding (by City of Eagan).
