Notes:
Soils information obtained from Subsurface Exploration Program prepared by Geo Engineering
Consultants, Inc. dated April 18, 2012. Onsite material is predominately silty sand with gravel. An
internal friction angle of 32° was assumed for the onsite material. Where unsuitable soils are found, a
subcut may be required and structural fill shall be placed and compacted to provide an adequate bearing
foundation. The above minimum soil strength parameters shall be verified prior to construction. CDP
shall be contacted if the above soil strength parameters cannot be met and a redesign may be required.
Wall layouts and elevations obtained from layout provided by Zach Barlow on topography survey
prepared by Meyer-Rohlin Land Services dated 4/6/2012.
We appreciate the opportunity of providing services to you. If you have any questions or comments
regarding this project, please feel free to contact us.
Sincerely,

Geo Engineering Consultants, Inc. is pleased to submit the factual report of our subsurface exploration
program for the above referenced project. In accordance with your authorization of March 29, 2012,
we have completed our subsurface exploration program.
The purpose of this report is to present the results of our field exploration and review programs for the
above referenced project.
Our field work was performed on April 13, 2012 with an all -terrain -vehicle mounted drill rig. The
boring locations were selected by Civil Design Professionals. Boring B-2 was moved from proposed
location due to inaccessibility. The surface elevation at boring B-2 was interpolated from lot survey
and is only approximate.
Soil classification was performed in general accordance with American Standards for Testing and
Materials (ASTM) D2488.
The soil samples will be retained for a period of one month and then will be discarded, unless we
receive written request from you to hold them for a longer period.
It should be noted that the borings represent the conditions at the time and location of the borings
only. No representation is made of conditions at other times and locations.
If there are any questions regarding the data, please call us at (763) 502-9945.
Very truly yours,
Ahsanur R. Siddique, P.E.
