As a homeowner on Windcrest Avenue I have two primary concerns about the complex. My Srst concem is traffic. When I called City Hall I was told that there are no plans in place to address the problems of people using Windcrest Avenue as an alternative to the official parking lot. I was assured that since the entrance to the park would be on the other side of the complex people would not want to walk azound. I think this is a naive perception. My second concern is noise levels. With the number of visitors expected to utilize the park on a daily basis, noise levels could be quite high. Excessive noise levels could seriously impact the quality of life in our neighborhood. It is distressing to me that there are no plans to meet with the neighborhood conceming a project that could seriously affect our property levels. I have been following the requirements that the City of Eagan has placed on Lundgren Brothers concerning their development off of C1iffRoad. Numerous meetings have been held in order to satisfy the development's neighbors. I can't help but feel that if an outside developer was building this aquatic park instead of Eagan, the City Council would not be so indifferent to our concems.
