This memo is to iRform your department to start to invoice the streetlighi energy costs in the
amount of $32.26/quarter with the next utility billing for Lot 2, Block i Town Centre 70,
16th Addition.
This parcel has a net area of 1.45 acres and is to be billed at the continuous streetlighting
rate of $22.25 per acre per quarter which equals $32.26.
The City is currently being bilied by Dakota Electric for the streetlight energy cost along
Town Centre Drive.

I have computed the R.E.F.'s for Lot 2, Block 1, Town Centre 70-16th Addition located
at 1345 Town Centre Drive owned by Perkins Restaurant. The total R.E.F.'s are 7.16.
My computations are based on a site plan dated October 28, 1993 prepared by Russ
Architecis. The total area is 7.45 acres of which 1.12 acres is considered impermea6fe
surface which equates to 77°,6 impermeable surface area. Please start to invoice Lot 2,
Block 1, wiih your next scheduled billing.

We have completed our review of the construction documents submitted in pursuit of
obtaining building permits for the above-referenced project. We are requesting that the
following items be addressed:
1. Sheet S.1 references the Wisconsin Administrative Code and the design live load was
referenced at 30 ps£ Please make appropriate corrections - MN. State Building
Code, sec. 1305.4700.
2. Provide two sets of sealed plaas stamped on every page.
3. Provide draft stop details for the concealed attic space - U.B.C., sec 2516(f), 4iii.
4. Fire stop 2x6 stud walls, preferably at the suspended ceiling height - U.B.C., sec.
2516(t), 2.
5. Provide a letter from the MN. Department of Health verifying compliance with their
requirements.
6. A four-mill poly must he installed within the "envelope" of the building - Model
Energy Code.

7. The grease interceptor, as proposed, does not compiy with the MN. Plumbing Code,
"No food waste disposer or dishwashing machine
sec. 4715.1110 which states in part
shall discharge into a building drainage system through a grease interceptor".
8. Verify that the exit doors are equipped with panic hardwaze.
9. The disabled toilet stalls will be required to have a"vertical grab bar mounted 12"
from the front of the toilet bowl extending from 12" above the height of the toilet
seat to 30" above the toilet seat" - MN. State Building Code, sec. 1340.0500.
10. Please complete the enclosed forms:
a. Building Pernrit Application.
b. Special Inspection and Testing Schedule. Please retum the form after
campleting the Type of Firm, Report Frequency, and Assigned Firm columns
and obtaining their acknowledgment signatures. Each special inspector,
testing agent and fabricator must submit a Final Inspection/Test Report or
Certificate of Compliance, as applicable, to our division before a Certificate
of Occupancy will be issued. Refer to U.B.C., sec. 302(c) and 306.
