The City of Eagan actively manages its right-of-ways and, by ordinance, regulates
the installation and maintenance of trees, sluvbs and landscaping within or
affecting these areas. The ordinances aze intended to protect and promote the
safety and welfaze of the general public.
Please be on notice that your property located at 784 Trotters Ridge has been
found to be in violation of the City ordinances pertaining to the installation and
maintenance of trees, shrubbery or landscaping within the street right-of-way.
Eagan City Code, Section 7.08, provides, in part:
Subd I.D.3 Any trees, shrubs or landscaping planted ar rnstalled within a street
right-of-way shall be at least ten (10) feetfrom the back ofthe curb or hventy
(20) feet from ihe edge of the road surface where no curb or gutter exists.
Subd. 1.D.4 Trees, shrubs and landscaping shall not be planted or maintained

A short time ago, you received a notice from the City of Eagan of a violation of
the City ordinance pertaining to the installation and maintenance of trees,
shrubbery or landscaping within the street right-of-way for your property located
at 784 Trotters Ridge. The purpose of this letter is to inform you that a follow-up
inspection was recently performed by City staff and as of the date stated above,
your property is now in compliance with Ciry Code.
For the safety of the traveling public, I ask that you periodically monitor your
trees/bushes/landscaping in the future and maintain them in such a manner as to
keep any vegetation out of the clear zone.
Also, I reviewed the sight distance concerns in the northeast corner of Trotters
Ridge and Northview Pazk Rd. (across from your property) and found no
violation at this time. The outer edge of the bushes is just outside the clear zone
area. Without proper maintenance they could encroach into the clear zone and
become an issue in the future.

Per our conversion this morning (March 11`", 2009 at 1030am) my final inspection
on permit # EA 80647 for my garage addition at 784 Trotters Ridge, Eagan 55123 needs to be extended due to my
inability to fund the small part remaining on the project.
I have had final inspections on the footings, foundation, framing, ice 8 water, electrical, and the gas line that I had install
for a garage heater. The exterior has all been completed and the interior only needs to have the ceiling and the walls
sheet rocked. Then the project will be complete.
I do have one question.... l put Ys" OSB around the bottom 2 feet of the interior walls for protection against dents or
damage to the sheet rock. Will this pass the inspection?
Please let me know and grant me and extension on my final inspection.
