DESIGN PROVISIONS:
• BUILDING IS CONSTRUCTED OF NON-COMBUSTIBLE
MATERIALS. (PRECAST, CONCRETE BLOCK, STEEL JOIST &
METAL DECK, METAL STUD FRAMING AND FIRE RATED GYPSUM
BOARD, ETC.)
• ELEVATOR IS INSTALLED IN PHASE I ARENA.
• BUILDING IS TOTALLY SPRINKLED.
• TOILET FIXTURE REQUIREMENT HAS NOT BEEN RECALCUiATED
FOR THE ENTIRE BUILDING. TOILET FIXTURE COUNT CONFORMS
TO REQUIREMENTS OF BUILDING WHEN PHASE II WAS
CON5TRUCTED IN 1998 USING THE 1994 UNIFORM BUILDING CODE
WITH MINNESOTA AMENDMENTS. TOTAL OCCUPANT LOAD AT
THAT TIME WAS GREATER THAN OCCUPANT LOAD FOR 2006 IBC
(LESS 519) DUE TO CHANGES IN LOAD CALCULATION FACTORS
FOR CERTAIN AREAS OF THE BUILDING.
