I thought the initial plans did not include porches, but maybe they were an option and some units were built with them from the get -go. I couldn't help myself and had to dig further. tallied up all the foundation sizes on Logis (Boulder Ridge and Boulder Ridge 2 together) and came up with a total of 91,608 s.f. The Boulder Ridge staff report says the site size is 9.2 acre; that is for the f addition only. According to the Boulder Ridge 2 addition plat file and lot areas from Logis for the 2 Addition, that site is 2.034 acres. Add them together, and we have total site size of 11.234 acres, or 489,353 s.f. Take the 91,608 s.f. and divide by 489,353 s.f., and existing building coverage is 18.72 %. So, based on these calculations, I have determined that we can permit a porch addition of 210 s.f. (14' x 15'). Doing so raises the total building coverage to 18.76 %.
