Jeff,
After reviewing the framing with the framers this morning it was apparent to me that the headers
would not be running over the top of the Wood Strong- Walls. 1 conferred with Shane in Columbus and
it was his intension that the headers would not run over the walls because it was not nessasary using
the walls in the 2 locations. The SW24X10 -RF is in a 10' wall in the dining room and the SW18X9 -RF
is in a 9' wall. That was my misunderstanding and have included new details as to the headers
butting into the Wood Strong - Walls. It is required that the top plates run over the StrooskWat . and
that a HUCQ410 -SDS concealed flange be used to attach the header to the Wood Strong-Wall.
This detail is on page 40 of the C -SW09. I have included a pdf of that page for your records.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to call.
Thanks,
Jeff Bloch
