RE: TBI Lot #006 - Elimination of the Rear Steel Column in the Basement
Dear Chad,
At TBI Lot #006, the construction team would like to eliminate the rear steel column in
the basement below the Expanded Great Room located approximately 4'-0" from the rear
basement wall. In lieu of the W8x18 steel beam, a continuous W8x40 steel beam must be
installed to support the first floor trusses. A 48" x 48" x 15" concrete footing is required
below the steel column located below the Master Bedroom's Walk-in Closet. See
attached foundation plan for more information.
