The farm is located in the southeast corner of Eagan, alongside Holz Lake, at 4665 Manor Drive. Currently, the eight } acres owned by the City are used for educational, historical, and entertainment activities. In 1996, ' efforts began to preserve and protect the house, barn and outbuildings that are examples of the 1940's era. A Master Plan for the site was completed in 2003. As of June 2007, the farmstead`. has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places. It generally takes a solid base of 6-8 inches of snow to open the facility. Approximately 75 tubes designed for winter tubing are available. To ensure the safety of all guests, you may not bring any of your own inner tubes, sleds, toboggans or other sledding devices during regu- lar hours in the designated tubing area. Participants must be able to walk up the hill as tow ropes are not available at this facility. Trapp Farm Park is a very busy site and birthday parties, presents, food or group events will not be allowed in the shelter during regular hours.
