the schedule of interviews for tilltor of :CQ fitunity Development and presented
sample questions for interviewing each 'ethe applicants. Administrative
Assistant Duffy explained that a written exercise would be performed with each
candidate to test their letter and memo writing ability.
There were four candidates interviewed by the City Council; each
interview lasting approximately #>::::- minutes. Following the interviews, Mayor
Ellison asked for discussion by the::CC3i y:: :Council and City Administrator about each
of the candidates in order to prepare:'•'fo$ :::;a::;.i,nal appointment at the October 18
City Council meeting.
After considerable discussW 7?oit'.'each of the four candidates, the
City Administrator was asked to con ct:1ale Runkle, the apparent majority choice
to discuss terms and conditioris: the position of Community Development
Director. There was no formal action taken.
