MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOA??D CF SUPERVISORS

August 6, 1965
A Special Meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Eagan Township
was held at Valley National Bank at 6:00 o'clock P. M. on August 6,
1965 at which all members were present.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was RESOLVED that a Special
Meeting of the Board of Supervisors be held at 2:00 o'clock P.M. on
Friday, August 13 at the Town Hall to discuss the proposed Joint Agreement
for a sewerage system between Bloomington, Burnsville and Eagan. In
addition, the proposed Burnsville-Eagan Agreement relative to the River
Hills Addition in Eagan will also be considered.
After discussion and upon motion duly made and seconded, it was
RESOLVED that a public hearing relative to the proposed Eagan sewer
system be and it hereby is, scheduled for Wednesday, September 8, 1965
at 8:00 o'clock P. M. at the Town Hall and that the Clerk be authorized
to publish and serve notices according to law.
Upon motion duly made by Supervisor Klein and seconded by Supervisor
Schwanz, it was RESOLVED that the Town Attorney be, and he hereby is,
authorized to enter into negotiations with the appropriate property
owner for acquiring an option for t1:e purchase of a site for the proposed
sewage treatment plant.
After discussion and upon motion duly made and seconded, it was
RESOLVED that l- rranta Brother .realty be, and it hereby is, authorized
to erect F'. temporary sign near Highway #13 and Cedar Avenue announcing
the future opening of an Applebaum's Supermarket.
Upon motion, the meeting adjourned.
