A special meeting of the NA-liege Council was held at the Village Halls
in the Village of Eagan, Dakota County, Minnesota at 7:15 on October 9, 1973,

The application of Virgil Schaaf to rezone the East 4(O feet of Loot: :'

St -,h, seconded Councilman Rahn, all members voting yes, it was RESOL`EED chat
the public hearing concerning the application be scheduled for October 30, 1973

The Village Attorney next presented a proposed Ordinance #48 ol sh ng
the office of one Justice of the Peace arc; two Constables and the Ada;>o a, t:.ire:_;J:
of all full-time active duty police officers as process officers. After dlecue-
lion, upon motion by Councilmen Rahn, seconded Councilman Wachtr, all members
voting yes, it was RESOLVED that the ordinance be adopted and ordered published,
Upon motion duly made by Councilman Smith, seconded Councilmen Wachter
it was RESODSD that the contributions by WCAO toward the playground id equipmeae
iz. Cedar Park Poad be accepted and that the Clerk be authorized to write the
organization thantcing the members for the contribution of $617.36;:
The Clo`Lk indicates that Rudon Inc. which had applied for a !wilding
permit re ently had determined not to proceed with the building and, requested
that the buiid .ug permit fees be returned to the applicant. The matter weF
deferred.

aid distrieueed would next convene with John Voss of Urban Planning ab.:d Deei t.
Inc, explaining the proposed land uce plan for the Village,. There was
considerable discuss on and questions o_,facerning the proposed plan prior to
adjournment. Mru Voss indicated that he would meet with developers individually
in the area and would be willing to meet with other property owners.
