05/14/1974 - City Council Special ::t1Nt)IES Or THE SPECIAL MEETING Cry THE CITI COti*NIL EAGAU, NINI E 3OTA May 14, 1974 A spacial meeting of the City Council was held upon written notice at 700 p.m. at the Eagan City Hall with all members present. Mayor Poizin presided. Upon motion by Rahn, seconded Smith, all members voting in favor, it was RESOLVED that the application of Blue Cross for excavation and grading permit be and it hereby is approved pursuant to the recommendations of the Advisory Planning Committee. Mr. Ronald Kisling appeared and requested a determination as to assess- ment for water lateral purposes from trunk on his property in King's Wood J Addition. After review aid upon motion by Smith, seconded Wacht:cr, U. rre'ee.rs voting in favor, it was RESOLVED that a frontage of 120 feet be used for the water lateral assessment. Upon motion by Rahn, seconded Wachter, all members voting yea, it was RESOLVED that the contract with MoNamara-Vivant covering road improvements for Elrene Road Project 0134 be and it hereby is approved and ordered caxecueei. After motion duly made and seconded, it was RESOLVED that Dale Peterson or Bill Branch be authorized to attend the tree disease meeting sponsored by Dakota County at the Rosemount Vo-Tech School. The Connell then discussed the need to appoint an appraicer for the acquisition of the right-of way at the Northwest corner of Coe inntersect:icn of Hi eeay #l3 and Cedar Avenue as required for federal funding purposes.
