MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE EAGAN CITY COUNCIL
EAGAN, MINNESOTA
JUNE 6, 1979
A special meeting of the Eagan City Council was held
on June 6, 1979 at 5:30 p.m. at the City Hall. Those present
were: Mayor Murphy, Councilmembers Parranto, Egan and Smith.
Councilmember Wachter was absent. Also present were: City
Administrator Hedges and City Clerk Bolke, and Ernie Clark
of Miller-& Schroeder Municipals Inc.
G.O. BONDS - $6,385,000
Mr. Clark reviewed with the City Council the two bids
which had been received for the $6,385,000 General Obligation
Bonds, a copy of the tabulation is filed as Document # 79-85.
Upon motion of Smith, seconded by Parranto, all members voting
aye, it was RESOLVED that the bids be received and the low
bid of the First National Bank of Chicago Joint Managers in
the amount of $6,343,864.45 at 5.60753% for a total interest
cost of $2,519,520.55 be accepted.

Upon motion of Parranto, seconded by Egan, all members
voting aye, it was RESOLVED that the Resolution creating
the 1979 G.O. Bond Fund, setting the bond form and the
general levy be adopted as presented.
