MINUTES OF A•SPECIAL MEETING OF THE EAGAN CITY COUNCIL
EAGAN, MINNESOTA
AUGUST 20, 1979
A special meeting of the Eagan City Council was held on August 20,
1979, at 7:00 p.m., at the Eagan City Hall. Those present were:
Mayor Murphy, Councilmembers Egan, Smith, Wachter and Parranto.
Also present was City Administrator Hedges.
1980 PROPOSED BUDGET
A special budget workshop session was held to discuss the
1980 budget. This session was the first in a series of meetings
to be held to work on the 1980 budget. The Council reviewed all
departmental requests which totaled $2,715,096. The City Administrator
was instructed to revise the requests that should be eliminated
or reduced and to prepare a revised budget for the next budget
review session. The next budget session was set for September 6,
1979.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at
approximately 10:00 p.m.
