MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE EAGAN CITY COUNTIL
EAGAN, MINNESOTA
MAY 28, 1987
A special meeting of the Eagan City Council was held on May 28, 1987, at 10:55
p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the Eagan Municipal Center Building.
Those present were Mayor Blomquist, City Councilmembers Ellison and Egan.
Also present were City Administrator Hedges, Finance Director/City Clerk
VanOverbeke, and Fire Chief Southorn.
CANVAS OF ELECTION RETURNS FOR THE MAY 28, 1987, SPECIAL ELECTION
Finance Director/City Clerk VanOverbeke presented the returns for the May 28,
1987, City Special Election. The results of each election are to be presented
to and approved by the City Council within two (2) days after the election.
The results on the question "Shall the City Council of the City of Eagan be
authorized to issue its general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed
$1,850,000 for the purpose of purchasing and improving land, constructing and
furnishing two (2) fire stations and purchasing pumpers and related
equipment?" were as follows:

Egan moved, Ellison seconded the motion to approve the canvas of ballots for
the election as presented. All voted in favor.
