The judges of the special election bein~ duly sworn in, the polls were
declared officially open at 1:00 o'clock P.M. at the Town Hall, ~agan
Township, Dakota County on January 17, 1962.
The question to be voted on was:
Shall the territory described in the resolution adopted by the
Town Boord on the 19th day of December, 1961, constitute a
special fire protection district?
The polls were declared officially closed at 8:00 o'clock P.M. , ballot
boxes unlocked and votes counted. There bein~ 125 voters and the official
boe....,...'(
count tD-geJ 116 Yes and 9 No, the territory described in the resolution
by the Town Board on December 19, 1961 now constitutes a special fire
protection district.
