MINUTES OF SPECIAL HEARING. BOARD OF SUPERVISORS. TOWN OF EAGAN
DECEMBER 3RD. 1962
A special hearing of the Board of Supervisors, Town of Eagan,
Dakota County, Minnesota, was held at the Town Hall on December 3rd, 1962
at 7:30 0' clock P.M. at which all members were present except Supervisor
Trapp.
Chairman Rahn presided.
Chairman Rahn explained that the hearing was called pursuant to
Resolution of the Board of Supervisors dated November 7th, 1962 directing
that a reassessment hearing be called relative to road improvements con-
sisting of paving and curbing in and upon the streets situated in Valley
View Plateau and Valley View Plateau Plat 2.
The Clerk presented the proposed assessment roll in the total amount
of $33,075.00 providing for an assessment in the amount of $735.00 against
each lot named in the assessment roll based upon the benefits received as
computed by the clerk together with the Town Engineer. The assessment roll
provided that the assessments are to be paid over a period of ten years in
equal annual installments together with interest at the rate of six per cent
per annum.
Several residents of Valley View Plateau and Valley View Plateau Plat
2 appeared on their own behalf regarding the proposed assessment. No writ-
ten nor oral objections were presented at the hearing.
The Town Attorney presented a form of Resolution regarding the proposed
assessment for road improvements in Valley View Plateau and Valley View Plat-
eau Plat 2. Upon motion duly made by Chairman Rahn and seconded by Supervisor
Schwanz, it was RESOLVED that the Resolution as separately attached hereto
and made a part hereof, be, and it hereby is, adopted.
Upon motion, the hearing adjourned.
