08/20/1965 - City Council Special MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
EAGAN TOWNSHIP, DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA
August 20, 1965
A special meeting of the Board of Supervisors, Eagan Township,
Dakota County, was held at 7:30 o'clock P.M. at the Town Hall on
August 20, 1965 at which all members were present.
Chairman Rahn presided and stated the purpose of the meeting to be
the discussion of the proposed central sewer system and treatment plant
facilities for Eagan Township and incidental thereto the proposed Joint
Agreement between Eagan-Burnsville-Bloomington and the public hearing
to be had thereon.
The Town Engineer and the Town Attorney discussed the matter from
various angles with the Board, and it was determined informally by the
Board after this discussion that the public hearing should be tentatively
scheduled for October 13 rather than September 8 as originally planned
to enable the Board, Engineer and Attorney to obtain additional facts
relating to population, proposed plant sites, and contract negotiations
with Bloomington and Burnsville.
Upon motion, the meeting adjourned.
