MINUTES
Special Meeting, June 8, 1967
A Special Meeting of the Eagan Town Board was held at the Town Hall
at 7:00 o'clock P.M. on June 8, 1967 at which all members were present
except Supervisor Schwanz. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss
further the budget of the Police Chief for 1967. Chairman Klein presided.
After discussion and on Motion of Chairman Klein seconded by
Supervisor Rahn it was RESOLVED that the Board would authorize the hiring
of one additional full-time patrolman starting September 1st, bringing the
full-time force to three men and continuing with two part-time men.
Salary increases were approved for patclmen and Police Chief on a sliding
scale to reach the top of $650 and $750 respectively. Patrolmen would
start at $550 per month to invrease as per schecule in 4 years to $650
per month. Salary for Virginia Knight, Sedretary, was approved at
$2.00 starting September 1, 1967.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
