MINUTES OF A SPBCI.'\L MEETING OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF
EAGAN TOWNSHIP. DAKOTA COUNTY. MINNESOTA
June 28. 1967
A special meeting of the Boa rd of Supervisors of Eagan Township,
Dakota County, Minnesota was held at the town hall on June 28, 1967, at
8:00 o'clock p. M. Those present were Rahn and Schwanz, Chairman Klein
was absent.
Co-chairman RaOO announced at 8:00 o'clock p. M. that the hearing concern-
ing Public Improvement Project 115 consisting of proposed installation of
trunk and lateral sanitary sewer and water mains to serve the Univac proper~~
Eagan Industrial Park, Sibley Industrial Terminal Park, Minnesota Rospital
Services and other property in the general area of Highway 113 was commenced.
Certain property owners appeared in response to public notice and mailed
notice to property owners. The town engineer presented the proposed details
of the improvement including projected costs. Followiq questions and upon
motion by Supervisor Rahn, seconded by Supervisor Schwanz it was RESOL$ that
the town engineer be, and hereby is, authorized to proceed with the Public
Improvement Project #15 and that he be instructed to prepare plans and,
specifications for such Project.
Upon motion by Supervisor Schwanz, seconded by Supervisor Rahn, it was
RESOLvm that the Town of Eagan be, and hereby is, authorized to file an
Application for Grant Under the Water Pollution Control Act.
This application
would cover request for federal aid to finance interceptor sanitary sewer
and two interim sewage treatment plants under construction. It was FURTHER
RESOLVED that the clerk be, and hereby 1s, authorized to execute aU necessary
documents relative to sa1d application.

A representative of I11nnesta Hospital Services Association.:appeared
aDd requested that the Board meet
with the Minnesota Hospital Services
Board of Directors concerning certain problems preliminary to construction
on their site located on Highway t/13. It was determined that the Board of
Supervisors meet with the Blue Cross Board on July 11. 1967. at 7: OOo'clock
P. M. at the town hall.
'l'he Board briefly discusB~d the 1967 County Liquor Act aad requested
that the town attorney write the County Board requesting that the township
be notified concerning any proposed county liquor ordinance because of the
town's interest in the dissemination of liquor licenses within Eagan
Township.
Upon motion the meeting adjourned.
