MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MBETING OF BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
E.t.GAN toWNSHIP, DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA
July 28, 1967
A special meeting of the Board of Supervisors waS called to order by
Chairman Klein at 7:30 o'clock P. M. on July 28, 1967, with all board members
present. Also present were the town engineer and Donald Knight. The
purpose of the meeting was to consider the purchase of water meters and also
to hire a Sewer and Water Superintendent.
Upon motion duly made by Supervisor Schwanz and seconded by Supervisor
Rabn it waS RESOLVED to approve tbe purchase of the American water meters with
remote readers from Power-Process Equipment Company of Minneapolis on a
consignment basis. The quoted purchase price was $48.00 including couplings
in lots of 500 to 1,000 which priee would be effective for a 12 month period.
Upon motion duly made by Supervisor Schwanz, seconded by Supervisor
Klein it was RESOLVED to hire William Branch, 4299 Jasper Drive, St. Paul,
for Sewer and Water Superintendent at $650.00 per month. He would be directly
responsible to the town engineer and Chairman Klein.
Upon motion duly made by Chairman Klein and seconded by Supervisor
Scbwanz it was RESOLVED to increase the wages of Arthur UbI, part time road
maintenance man to $2.25 per hour. If such wage increase is not acceptable
to Mr. Uh!, the clerk was ordered to advertise for a part time road maintenance
man.
Upon motion by Chairman Klein seconded by Supervisor Rabn it was
RESOLVED to approve a building permit for a pole building to be used as a
garage by WilHam Reid, Pilot 1<I\ob Road, St. Paul, Minnesota. Estimated
valuation $900.00.

Upon motion by Supervisor Schwanz and seconded by Supervisor Rahn it
was RESOLVED to hire W. Bruestle to install two screen doors in the town
hall at 8 cost of $120.00.
As there was no further business, upon motion the meeting was adjourned.
