MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS or
EAGAN TOHNSHIP, DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA
September 11, 1967
A special meeting of the Eagan Township BOard of Supervisors waS held at
the t~wn hall on September 11, 1967, at 9:30 o'clock p. M. at which all m~~er3
were present. Chairman Klein presided. The reading of any minutes of previous
~0etir~s was unanimously waived.
The town attorney reported that the appraisals which had been expected on
the proposed well site and B-E-B sewer plant site had not been received from
Mr. Kunz. It was determined that tbe town engineer should try to obtain these
appraisals before the next meeting of the Board.
Upon motion duly made by Supervisor Rahn and seconded by Supervisor Schwanz,
it was RESOLVED that Chairman Klein be, and hereby is, duly appointed to be the
representative to serve pursuant to the joint agreement between the City of
Bloomington. Village of Burnsville and Town of Eagan.
The proposed acquisition of easements from Ted Kaysen, Jr. for road purposes
on Blackhawk Road was discussed. Upon motion duty made by Supervisor Schwanz,
and seconded by Supervisor Rahn, it was RESOLVPD that the town attorney be.
and hereby is. duly authorized and directed to attempt a reasonable settlem~nt
negotiation for the acquisition of the land needed per the engineer's plan and
that in the event such negotiations fail he would then proceed with appropriate
condemnation proceedings.
A special request by Rauenhorst Corporation to meet regarding road and
utility arrangements for the in4ustrial park was presented. It was the co~sensus
of the Board that it wc~ld be worthwhile to meet with them to listen to their
requests. The meeting was set for September 13. 1967 at 6:30 P. M.
