MtNUTES OF A SPECI/lL !1EETING OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
EAGAN TOl>1NSHIP, DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA
January 30, 1968
A special meeting of the Board of Supervisors, Eagan Township, was called
to order at 7:15 P. M. at the town hall ~t which Klein, Rahn and Schwanz were
present; Mrs. Bolke was absent.
Chairman Klein indicated that one purpose of the meeting was to discuss
the Road Supervisors position with Marvin Henzel who was present upon request.
The Board explained to Mr. Wenzel his position as an employee of the township
as a road maintenance man and indicated that Mr. Wallace C. Bunnell ~1as being
hired effective February 1, 1968 as the road supervisor for Eagan to supervise
all other road employees. Mr. Wenzel was further counseled concerning his
behavior and attitude toward the general public in Eagan and also the Board
memben and was cautioned concerning his relationship with the Board and the
public. After considerable discussion concerning the above and upon motion by
Supervisor Schwanz and seconded by !upervisor Rahn it was RESOLVED that Marvin
Wenzel be granted an additional $.10 per hour wage increase to $3.35 per hour
effective February 1, 1968. Chai~n Klein voted no for the reason that Wenzel
was granted a. 25~ per hour increase in approximately September, 1967.
Upon motion by Chairman Klein, seconded by Supervisor Rahn it was RESOLVED
that Mr. Wallace C. Bunnell of Highway #13, Savage, Minnesota be, and hereby
is, hired as the road and street supervisor for Eagan Township effective
February 1, 1968 at the rate of $625.00 per month which employment contract
shall continue until termination.
Upon moeion by Supervisor Ra~ seconded by Supervisor Sehwanz it was
aBSOLVED that a sign permit consisting of a 171 X 61 sign for the Colonial Car
Wash in Cedarvale Shopping Center to Mr. Ruvelson which sign is valued at
$1.200. be, and herby is, granted subject to submission of proper permit
applications and fees.
Upon motion the meeting adjourned.
