BAGAN TOWNSHIP, DAKiDTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA
August 22, 1969
A special meeting of the Board of Supervisors of the Town of Eagan,
Dakota County, Minnesota, was held at the Tawas Hail at 4:30 P. M. on
August 22, 19b9.. Those present were Chairman ICleiu and Supervisor Rahn.
Supervisor Uselmann was absent,
The Chairaaan first presented the contract with Rauenhorst Development
Corporation covering Improvement Project #28, Part 2, Upon motion made
bq R1ein, seconded by Rahn, it wear RESOLVED that the contract be approved
at~3 ordered executed,
The contract with Solberg Construction Co. covrering Blackhawk Road
Improvements, Project X75, was next gresented. Upon motion made by Klein,
seconded by Raha, it was RESOLVED that the contract be approved and ordered
executed,
Upon oration by Klein, seconded by Rahn, it was RSSbLVEp that a new
public hearing concerning the preliminary report covering that portion of
Project #~.5 concerning Ridgeview Acres and Jon Croft Acres, sanitary sewer
and water improvements, be and it hereby is rescheduled for September 16, a
1969 at 8s00 P. M.
The Town Attorney reported on the progress concerning acquisition of
easetaeats along Blackhawk Road. An up to date summary was given to the
Board. Zt was noted Chat about four property owners apparently are refusing
to grant the slope easements and upon oration by Rahn, seconded by Klein,
it was RESOLVED that the Town Engineer and Town Attorney be authorized to
acquire ail easements necessary and in the event that certain easements
cannot be acquired, that the road be redesigned ar~d oanstructed so as to

remain in the row adjacent to property owners whose slope easements
cannot be acquired.
Upon motion by Klein, seconded by Mahn it was RESOLVED that the
contract with Hoffman Bros., Inc. covering Improvement. Project #41 be,
and it hereby is approved and ordered executed.
Upon motion by Klein, seconded by Rahn, it was RESOLVED that the
application of Richard Fischer, 2474 Cora Lane, far building permit
for garage, 24' x 24', $2,200.00, five feet from the rear lot line, be
approved.
The Town Attorney presented a proposed letter addressed to Mr. and
Mrs. Haswell Lang concerning the acquisition of Silver Belle Road easements
includ ing highway and temporary elope easements. it was Hated that a letter
had been received from Cedar Grove Construction Co. concerning the agree-
went reached at the xegular Bogrd messing on August 14, 1969 and upon
motion duly made and seconded it was RESOLVED thaC the letter addressed to
the tangs and dated August 22, 1969 be approved and forwarded to the Langs.
It was noted that about 1.,97 acres was included in the Highway easement
right of way over the Lang property.
