February 23, 1972
A special meeting of the Board of Supervisors, Town of Eagan,
Dakota County, Minnesota, was held on February 23, 1972, at 6:30 P.M. at
the Town Hall at which all members were present.
Chairman Klein presided. An application for three sign permits
for the Sherwin Williams Store, Cedervale, by Signs Inc. was presented. Upon
motion by Supervisor Uselmann, seconded by Supervisor Rahn it was RESOLVED
that the application be approved and the Clerk be authorized to issue the
permits upon payment of the appropriate fees.
The Clerk presented a letter from the Board to the Metropolitan
Council approving the purchase by Da:cota County of a 205 acre park site in
Section 32. Upon motion of Supervisor Uselmann, seconded by Supervisor Rahn
it was RESOLVED that the letter be approved and mailed to Che Chairman of
the Metropolitan Council.
The Clerk presented a copy bf Preliminary Report No. 92, street
improvement for 3ohnny Cake Ridge. Upon motion of Supervisor Rahn, seconded
by Supervisor Uselmann, aye Klein it was RESOLVED that the Preliminary Report
No. 92 be accepted and approved and it was further RESOLVED that a Public
Hearing be set for March 21, 1972 at 8:00 o'clock P.M. at the Town Hall.

Lion of plans and specifications for the Fire Station Project in the amount
of $b,757.92 was presented and upon motion of Supervisor Uselmann, seconded
by Supervisor Rahn it was approved for payment.
Upon motion by Chairman Klein, seconded by Supervisor Uselmann it
was RESOLVED that John Stevenson and George Kasat be hired fox full time
police duty effective ~.pril 1.
The Board next met with the department heads to gd over their
prepared budgets for the coming year and s~alce some necessary revisions.
The Board will meet at the Town Hall on February 29 at 7:00 P.M.
to discuss the budget for the coming year and cJi11 meet with the respecti•re
dzparttaent heads at 8:00 o'clock P.M. to discuss their revised budgets.
Upon motion the meeting adjourned.
