March 9, 1972
A Special Joint Meeting of the Board of Supervisors and Park Board
was held at the Eagan Town Ha11 at 4:00 o'clock P.M. on March 9, 1972.
Supervisors:Rahn and Uselmann were present together with John Voss and Tony
Rcszak and Park Board representatives.. Vice Chairman Rahn presided. The
meeting was held to discuss the acquisition of certain park property.
Upan motion of Supervisor Uselmann, seconded by Superv3.sor Rahn,
aye Klein, it was RESOLVED that Mr. Roszak be authorized to negotiate for and
the Board to exercise options on the following property in Section 22:
Anthony and Yolanda Caponi - 20 acres $40,000
Janet Kehne - 35 acres $70,000
Joseph & Lillian McCarthy - 12 acres and buildings $43,000
The McCarthy property will also include a 60 x 400 foot easement and
include a provision that McCarthy be given a reasonable time to build or buy
a new residence and that fn the meantime he be permitted to live in his present
hrme.
Upan motion of Supervisor Rahn, seconded by Supervisor Uselm2nn,
aye Klein, iC was RESOLVED that the option agreements from John O'Toole, S;~iria
Chapdelaine and E. E. Parranto be executed by the proper town officials.
Upon motion the meeting adjourned.
